Merseyside, UK – 30 July 2021 – UK developer and publisher Thalamus Digital Publishing Ltd. today announced the worldwide launch of 10 Second Ninja X for Nintendo Switch.

Originally released in 2016 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One, 10 Second Ninja X is a blisteringly fast hardcore action platformer that tests the player’s skills, reflexes, and patience in equal measure. The nefarious Captain Greatbeard has kidnapped the player and trapped their friends inside of his army of robots and, as the name of the game suggests, it’s the player’s task to destroy all of these robots on each level in ten seconds or less.

“The goal with 10 Second Ninja was to make something polished and satisfying from the instant you picked up the gamepad,” explains Four Circle Interactive Director Dan Pearce. “While the game is challenging, what’s more important is that it’s super easy to learn and not just about quick reflexes. It feels so right for a console like the Nintendo Switch, where picking up a game for a few minutes (or seconds) is such a core part of the system’s appeal.”

“We’re super excited for 10 Second Ninja X to be hitting Nintendo Switch – the title feels right at home on this platform,” explains Four Circle Interactive Director Daniel Scales. “With the new difficulty adjustments, combined with the choice of portability of the Nintendo Switch, we really feel this in the definitive and most accessible version of 10 Second Ninja X ever released.”

“Squeezing the game onto the Nintendo Switch was quite a challenge,” explains Thalamus founder and CEO Andy Roberts, “but we were determined to make sure that the Nintendo Switch experience was as authentic, accessible, and addictive as possible.”

10 Second Ninja X features 100 levels spanning 11 game worlds, 11 marathon modes featuring back-to-back ninja madness, player ghosts and unlockable ghost hints for trickier levels, online leaderboards, hidden minigames (with a 100% chance of Nun-themed mayhem), and eight different character costumes to unlock and play.
