“How to make money with games” is the main focus of the Hamburg Games Conference 2020 at Zeise cinemas

With a new concept and a new location, the Hamburg Games Conference will experience the biggest relaunch in its successful history on 27 February 2020: In all three cinema halls of the Zeise cinema the cutting edge event of Hamburg’s digital industry will focus on the main topic “Digital revenue models in games – how game developers will earn money with their content in the future” via talks, panels and on-site live let’s plays.

Experienced industry experts such as Jonas Antonsson (Raw Fury), Ed Valiente (Thunderful), Lenka Kaciakova (Wooga), Claudio Lins (Cornfox Brothers, Producer of Oceanhorn 2),

Patrick Wilkens (Spil Games), and Carsten Fichtelmann (Daedalic) share their knowledge in keynotes and panels about business models of the future, leadership and corporate culture, Apple Arcade and increasingly important markets such as onboard entertainment and livestreaming. Further speakers will be announced shortly.

Zeise cinemas are the perfect location for Hamburg Games Conference

In order to perfectly reflect the new concept with three parallel tracks and a business area, the Hamburg Games Conference is moving to the Zeise cinemas with over 500 seats in three cinemas: in addition to the keynotes and panels in Cinema 1 (360+ seats), there will be a rich in variety programme with live let’s plays from well-known streamers on current games from German developers such as the highly praised “Through the Darkest of Times” in cinema hall 3 and exciting insights, learnings and knowledge sharing for start-ups and founders in cinema hall 2.
