"DreamHack has always been about bringing value to our community, and having Challengermode as a platform partner has enabled us to do that online in a scale we couldn't before. We look forward to expanding DreamHack Weekly and support the grassroots esports communities with even more competitions in CS, PUBG, LoL, and Dota 2 - with more games to come."
- Michael Van Driel, CPO of DreamHack.
During the past year, DreamHack has hosted several online tournaments and qualifiers through Challengermode such as the “DreamHack Weekly”, a series of popular tournaments for CS:GO and PUBG exclusive to Challengermode. The open qualifiers for DreamHack’s Nordic Championship in League of Legends, and formerly in CS:GO were also run on Challengermode through the Nordic National Esports Leagues for Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, with the top two teams from each country qualifying directly into the Nordic Championship playoffs.
“We couldn’t be more excited to extend our partnership with DreamHack after all the great stuff we’ve done together. DreamHack is one of the most prominent tournament organizers in the world and has also become a great partner for us throughout various endeavors. With DreamHack’s unique track record and our platform technology we are in a unique position to offer some truly revolutionizing esports and gaming experiences over the coming months and years.”
- Robel Efrem, CEO of Challengermode
Having just added the classic game Dota 2 to the platform during the summer, Challengermode and DreamHack recently launched a new weekly series of exclusive Dota 2 tournaments with a total of €9,000 in prizes, that’s been running throughout August and September of 2019 and will be followed by additional tournament series in more game titles throughout 2019 and 2020. Fans of DreamHack will be invited to partake in these tournaments and community-based events with special prizes and follower-only features available through Challengermode.
