The partnership reaffirms their collaboration and commitment to enhancing competitive gaming, with an extra focus on the grassroots and community level esports across the globe.
Challengermode and DreamHack extend strategic platform partnership
Using Challengermode’s unique community and tournament organization tools, DreamHack will be able to strengthen their online engagement efforts, activating and monetizing their fans on a daily basis in addition to their regular high-level esports productions such as the DreamHack Masters and their classic gaming and LAN festivals.

During the past year, DreamHack has hosted several online tournaments and qualifiers through Challengermode such as the “DreamHack Weekly”, a series of popular tournaments for CS:GO and PUBG exclusive to Challengermode. The open qualifiers for DreamHack’s Nordic Championship in League of Legends, and formerly in CS:GO were also run on Challengermode through the Nordic National Esports Leagues for Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, with the top two teams from each country qualifying directly into the Nordic Championship playoffs.

Having just added the classic game Dota 2 to the platform during the summer, Challengermode and DreamHack recently launched a new weekly series of exclusive Dota 2 tournaments with a total of €9,000 in prizes, that’s been running throughout August and September of 2019 and will be followed by additional tournament series in more game titles throughout 2019 and 2020. Fans of DreamHack will be invited to partake in these tournaments and community-based events with special prizes and follower-only features available through Challengermode.

Challengermode and DreamHack launch national esports leagues

Challengermode 's National Esports Leagues expand to Iberia together with DreamHack Spain

DreamHack Spain (Encom Games) is the new licensee and partner to host the National Esports Leagues (NEL) in Spain and Portugal. The partnership will see the NELs for Spain and Portugal - the Iberian Esports Leagues - launch under the brand of the currently running DreamCup competition. The first season is set to start in Q1 of 2019.
