Allied Esports today announced the creation of an original event series called “Day One” that will celebrate the launch of new game titles on the day they are released to the public. The series will kick off with the debut of Tom Clancy’s The Division® 2 on Thursday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. Pacific Time at HyperX Esports Arena Las Vegas.
Each “Day One” event will bring the title’s community together with prominent influencers and fans playing the game for the first time in front of a streaming audience at the very moment it is made available. FaZe Clan’s Apex (@FaZeApex), Teeqo (@Teeqo) and GwidT (@GwidT) will headline the influencer lineup for the debut of the series on Thursday.
“There is nothing like the anticipation around the launch of a new game and ‘Day One’ will take that excitement and deliver an experience, both in-person in Las Vegas and in our stream, that unifies the community in a significant and authentic way,” said Frank Ng, co-CEO of Ourgame Holdings International, owner of Allied Esports. “We look forward to working with publishers like Ubisoft to create a can’t-miss event and must-watch content that generates a powerful buzz and helps drive momentum for their new title.”
Viewers can tune into Allied Esports’ new Twitch channel twitch.tv/alliedesports starting at 7:30 p.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, March 14 for the main stream of the event, which will include gameplay, behind-the-scenes access, and live interviews with influencers and other VIP guests. The stream will be hosted by Anna Prosser and Alex Corea who will be joined by casters Bil “Jump” Carter and Michael “MTashed” Tash.
The debut of “Day One” will include a roster of influencers whose gameplay will be featured on Allied Esports’ main stream as well as on their respective Twitch channels throughout the night. The list of streamers includes: AvaGG (twitch.tv/avagg), BurkeBlack (twitch.tv/burkeblack), Curvyllama (twitch.tv/curvyllama), GassyMexican (twitch.tv/gassymexican), HayliNic (twitch.tv/haylinic), Lowco (twitch.tv/lowco), TheHaleyBaby (twitch.tv/thehaleybaby) and Caliverse (twitch.tv/caliverse).
Fans at the inaugural “Day One” party will have the opportunity to play and compete in The Division 2, which will be officially released at 9:01 p.m. Pacific Time on Thursday, March 14, with the chance to win special prizes, including copies of the game, new merchandise, products from partners, game codes and more.
