FUZE Technologies Ltd apologetically announces a further slight delay in the release date for their highly anticipated ‘learn to code’ games programming application for Nintendo Switch. The final release date is May 31st. Visit www.fuze.co.uk to see the video.
Managing director Jon Silvera commented, “in all honesty we’re all a bit disappointed to have delayed further but there really was no other option. The 31st of May is a comfortable date as we’re already in the final stages, no new features are being added just testing and adding as much tutorial and help content as we can. FUZE4 Nintendo Switch is special as there really is nothing else like it. We always knew we could come up with the goods but none of us realised quite how impressive the final release version would be. It’s fast, intuitive and very accessible.”
Cont. “From a personal perspective I could not be prouder. We’re a small team with limited resources. The team has worked tirelessly for almost two years. It’s been an incredible journey and one I hope will put the younger team members in very good stead for their lives ahead.”
Cont. “Finally, Nintendo’s awesome Switch made it possible for us to realise the answer to the original question that began this journey. The question, could we recreate the accessible coding environment those of us who grew up in the 1970’s and 80’s was exposed to? The answer, after seven years of hard, but very enjoyable work, and thanks in no small part to Nintendo, is a resounding yes. Beyond our own expectations YES! Go code.”
Along with a video apology they’ve managed to include a vast array of demo clips taken directly from the application to highlight what is possible. Every demo is 100% FUZE.
Highlights include: showing off the mammoth collection of game assets from thirty pixel-artists, 3D model designers and musicians. The release version includes more than 10,000 unique assets from simple 3D objects to complex sports stadiums, modular dungeons to home interiors, cute fish to hulking dinosaurs, and in 2D, from simple pixel art platforms to photorealistic backdrops. And then of course there’s the audio content from pew-pew laser fire to ominous bellowing orcs and everything in between. And it doesn’t stop there as also included is a wide array of music tracks to add the finishing touch to any project masterpiece.
The latest video includes multiple gaming genre demonstrations from retro vectors and pixilated aliens to modern day Kart Racers and atmospheric dungeon crawlers. From sports to JRPG from puzzle games to synthesisers, anything is possible.
The quality of the demos speak for themselves and certainly proves very high standards are achievable. There’s no limit to the potential creativity as users can also draw their own graphics, create their own tilemaps for levels, model unlimited dungeons, interiors and outdoor worlds, as well as compose their own sound effects and music or apply synth modules to the existing audio.
FUZE4 Nintendo Switch is unlike any other program available for the Switch. It is accessible to absolute beginners but more than powerful enough and versatile to keep even the most ardent programmers satisfied.
Most of all F4NS turns the incredibly successful Nintendo Switch into the Home Computer of the new millennium. Create anywhere, play everywhere!
