Sequel in the Popular Turn-Based Battle Fleet Series Continues Its WW2 Legacy on Land
Vancouver, Canada: The long wait is over! Mythical City Games is proud to announce its turn-based, strategy series - Battle Fleet - is making its triumphant return to iOS. For the first time, Battle Fleet’s iconic Worms-style, angle-and-power gameplay lands ashore in Battle Fleet: Ground Assault.
In Ground Assault, players skirmish on the iconic battlegrounds of World War II. Whether you strive for allied victory or look to change history, lead the charge as a commander for either Axis or Allied powers.
Lauded for its approachable and addictive combat, Ground Assault expands its strategic depth with its move to land. Generals can now exploit clever positioning, terrain, destructible environments, weapon types, sight lines, strategic drops, and unique tank weaknesses to get the upper hand in combat.
Ground Assault has modes for all play types. Shift the balance of power in a Western Europe campaign, get a quick strategy fix in custom single-player matches, or defeat both friend and foe in cross-platform multiplayer.
With an exclusive focus on tanks, Ground Assault’s historically accurate roster of 20 vehicles - from America, Britain, and Germany - will give both strategy and history buffs plenty to play with.
With its initial release on Steam, the development team has learned much from Ground Assault’s early months on the market. The iOS launch comes with several updates that streamlines the gameplay experience and helps players get the most out of the title. That’s not to say that PC players are being left behind; Steam users will receive all of the same updates and a brand-new VR mode that will launch simultaneously with the iOS release.
Ready to engage, generals? Battle Fleet: Ground Assault is set to launch worldwide on iOS on Thursday, March 14th, 2019 for $14.99 USD.
