StarCraft II is heading back to Poland next year, as gamers from across the globe gather for Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice. Top players, including 2018 World Championship Series winner Joona “Serral” Sotala, will be battling it out for their share of a prize pool worth $250,000 USD—starting with online qualifiers in January, and culminating in action-packed Grand Finals on March 3, 2019.

In addition, IEM Katowice’s prize pool has the potential to be bolstered by StarCraft II fans. Those who purchase the in-game War Chest, available in December, can help add a maximum $150,000 USD to the existing $250,000 USD prize pool.
