VR game Pixel Ripped 1989 just received a mighty update, developer ARVORE wants to celebrate Halloween with their beloved community with a totally new NIGHTMARE BONUS LEVEL. The update is available on Oculus and Steam, and soon will be on PSVR. Discounts are also coming, Oculus version is already 25% off and the Steam version will enjoy the same discount starting 1st of November. Additionally, every player to beat the extra-creepy extra level will also win a special Gear Kid skin in game!
Our European exclusive competition ends this week, we remind you that the player who shares a gameplay video carrying the most pixels at the end of Level 1 will have his picture featured on our the cover of Gamerpow Magazine inside the game! Current highest score mark is 1832 pixels and was achieved last week by our player Ich120 (video).
Pixel Ripped 1989 is among the nominees for Best VR Experience at the VR NOW Con Awards along with Ubisoft Blue Byte's Escape the Lost Pyramid and VRyou / Vonderland VR's Vonderland.
The event will be celebrated this 14th and 15th of November in Potsdam, Germany.

First conceived and created as a student project by Ana Ribeiro, then co-developed and published by São Paulo-based ARVORE, the game has been a multi-year, multi-continent passion project, and marks the first title brought to market by ARVORE.
