NXP +8.3% on report China has OK'd Qualcomm deal
NXP Semiconductors is hopping twilight, up 8.3%, as the South China Morning Post reports that Chinese controllers have endorsed Qualcomm's $44B buyout of the organization.
Qualcomm is up 2.2% nightfall.
That clears the last obstacle, as indicated by the report, as China is the remainder of nine countries that needed to approve the merger.
Be that as it may, timing of the arrangement, or what resources Qualcomm may have consented to offer up to seal it, are as yet obscure.
