FantasyEsports.gg Announces Launch of Non-Wagering Fantasy Esports Platform
League of Legends Fantasy Challenges Available June 11
CHICAGO, June 10, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ – FantasyEsports.gg, a Chicago-based esports technology company with offices in the United Kingdomand Australia, is thrilled to debut their non-wagering fantasy Fantasy Esports.gg
Launching June 11, 2018, FantasyEsports.gg will deliver a unique and rewarding experience to gamers and fans around the globe, with an accessible, free-to-play platform (that’s right – no entry fees, no wagering, never costs a penny). FantasyEsports.gg will feature sophisticated scoring systems, unique challenge formats, an interactive live experience, and prizes from the world’s biggest gaming brands. All this will create the ultimate destination for fantasy esports.
“We’ve seen phenomenal growth with traditional fantasy sports, but as gamers, we think the current esports offerings are underwhelming,” said Rossi Biddle, Chief Executive Officer. “While everyone else is working on wagering and cryptocurrency platforms, we’ve been listening to the community and building a free-to-play platform that esports fans are really going to enjoy.”
At launch, FantasyEsports.gg will support League of Legends with the first challenges taking place during week 1 of the NA LCS and EU LCS Summer Splits (June 15-17). Each week of the split, gamers will have the opportunity to win great prizes by putting together a roster of professional players and competing for the top spot on the leaderboard.
Player salaries and fantasy scores for these challenges will be calculated using the FEGG Scoring System. This system was developed by players, commentators, and coaches within the esports community by analyzing thousands of professional games from leagues around the world. While the other League of Legends sites treat every position the same and only track five or six data points, FEGG Scores are calculated using over 25 unique inputs, each one weighted based on the player’s role in the game. The result is a robust scoring system that can be used to track and compare player performance, analyze future matchups, and of course, create engaging fantasy esports challenges.
“We really want to establish a new standard for how the community discusses and analyzes player performance,” said Ryan Wilson, Chief Gaming Officer. “As we continue to add new games to the platform, we’ll be investing heavily to create the most detailed performance-based scoring systems in the industry.”
To celebrate the launch, FantasyEsports.gg is giving away a gaming gear prize package that includes a NEED for SEAT MAXNOMIC Gaming Chair, a Logitech G603 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse, a Logitech G613 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, a Logitech G433 7.1 Surround Gaming Headset, a $100 League of Legends Gift Card, and a $100 Blizzard Entertainment Gift Card. To enter, visit fantasyesports.gg and register before Friday, June 15, 2018. The winner will be announced on Saturday, June 16, 2018.
“We’re excited to launch, but we’re also just getting started. We’re going to keep adding more games, creating fun challenges, rolling out new features, supporting the gaming community, and partnering with awesome brands that bring value to the fans,” said Vince Amatuzzi, Chief Marketing Officer.
