T-Mobile announces more mid-band LTE upgrades
T-Mobile has declared another bunch of redesigns of mid-band LTE limit.
The news comes two weeks after a comparable declaration from CTO Neville Ray.
"100s of destinations were redesigned with more midband limit in simply the most recent two weeks and #WeWontStop!" Ray tweets.
The urban areas accepting redesigns incorporate New York; Phoenix; Indianapolis; Austin, Texas; and Washington, D.C.
the rollout includes low-band 600MHz and 700MHz and mid-band PCS and AWS coverage. Ray also said that more work on 600MHz coverage for spotty areas would be “coming.” This rollout essentially means T-Mobile is shoring up its low-to-middle band areas to get better overall signals in those places, with the focus on getting existing speeds to be more reliable.
