GAME ON TABLETOP RAISES JOAN OF ARC BOARD GAME CROWDFUNDING TO $4 MILLION
LYON, FRANCE (May 7, 2018) – Game On Tabletop, the crowdfunding platform by gamers for gamers, and Mythic Games, creators of the acclaimed Mythic Battles: Pantheon miniatures game, announce today the pledge manager campaign for the Time of Legends: Joan of Arc board game has concluded with outstanding results, which, combined with the initial Kickstarter campaign has raised a total of $4,257,377. Only a year since Game On Tabletop first launched globally, this sets a new record for the platform.

Game On Tabletop’s Pledge Manager allowed backers of the Joan of Arc board game to select their rewards, as well as pick-up additional add-ons and exclusives and manage their shipping. The late pledge campaign attracted more than 1000 new backers and raised over $2 million, including shipping.

“It was a wonderful challenge Mythic Games brought to us and we were thrilled to create a Late Pledge campaign for Joan of Arc that expanded the reach and impact beyond the traditional crowdfunding campaign,” says Laura Hoffmann, Game On Tabletop’s business manager. “Raising $2 million on a single campaign is a new record for Game On Tabletop and proves our ability to cater to large-scale campaigns. On a personal note, it’s been an amazing time working with the Mythic Games team and we look forward to bringing more of their games to the Game On Tabletop community.”

Time of Legends: Joan of Arc is a miniatures board game of dark medieval fantasy, narrative adventures and historical battles. It is set to the backdrop of the Hundred Years War, one that blends the history of the period with the beliefs of the people who lived at the time, allowing the game to explore both the historical and the fantastical. Along with a simple, order-based, area activation system, modular boards and two modes of play; Time of Legends: Joan of Arc is a board gaming experience unparalleled in its richness, depth, and diversity.

“Game On Tabletop’s platform formed an integral part of the incredible success we were able to achieve with our pledge manager,” says AZ Drummond, Mythic Games’ community and communications manager. They offered us a high level of support and reacted quickly to our evolving needs. It enabled us to respond to the wishes of our backers by offering them new items, and gave backers the flexibility to manage their pledge as and when they needed. Running a pledge manager is a complicated affair, but the expertise and professionalism which Game On Tabletop brought to the table made our lives simple.”
