Fox, AMC Networks, Sky lead $75M round for streamer FuboTV
$75M round for streamer FuboTV (FOX, FOXA), AMC Networks (NASDAQ: AMCX) and Sky (OTCQX: SKYAY) have driven another $75M subsidizing round for FuboTV, a becoming over-the-top TV benefit concentrated on sports offerings.
That round, with the expansion of new financial specialist AMC, conveys Fubo's aggregate subsidizing raises to $150M.
FuboTV's subscribership has dramatically increased over the recent years, to more than 100,000; supporters get 70 or more channels (counting live programming from CBS, Fox, and NBC) over the Internet for $45/month or more.
So far missing from the lineup: Disney's ABC and ESPN, and Time Warner systems like CNN and the Turner stations.
Sky and Fox had accumulated aboard situate each on FuboTV with a consolidated $12M interest in mid-2016.
