Portland, Oregon – Taplocity Studios is pleased to announce the up and coming release of Hop Atop, the company’s crazy new animal battle game developed from the ground up for Apple’s iOS and tvOS Platforms. Supporting tvOS, game controllers, Haptic Engine, 3D Touch, a custom Multi-Touch control scheme, iPhone X and Game Centerâs online matchmaking framework, Hop Atop promises to be an incredible multiplayer experience.
In both local and online modes, the player(s) swipe left, right, up and down to move and jump around different worlds. Hopping atop of the other animal, or having the other animal fall to spikes or other hazards, is how players scramble to victory. With a variety of worlds and characters, Hop Atop offers a chance to have unique and crazy animal battles.
In a battle between two players on the same device, each player swipes on one-half of the device to move their animal. In online mode, after choosing a character, the player is paired with another player through Game Centerâs real-time matchmaking. Winning a match scores the player a point, and is then repaired to play another match. Once the player loses, your total points from that session is added to global leaderboards.
So what are you waiting for? Go battle your friends and become victorious as a unicorn on a beach, a turtle in a forest, and many more crazy combos! Hop Atop is launching globally on iOS and tvOS App Stores on November 3rd. For more information or promo codes, please contact Ryan Stephen.
