This major update includes direct cloud connections for Amazon S3, Google Cloud Storage, and SFTP file servers. Additional cloud services will be added in future releases. With the addition of direct connections to cloud services, ChronoSync is able to backup and synchronize files to virtually anything that can connect to a Mac. What’s more, ChronoSync 4.7 includes SFTP server support with direct connections to a Mac, Linux or Windows system configured as an SFTP server. With SFTP you can store data on an off-site computer that you control. ChronoSync 4.7 features Disk Image and FileVault 2 mounting options on remote systems. ChronoSync 4.7 safely stores the encryption key/password for Disk Images and FileVault to mount and unlock the volume and unmount & lock the volume when the backup is finished. It’s all automatic!
